I don't know if you watched it a couple of months ago but Philippe Starck ran a competition for 12 british designers to compete to find the best. He says 'lets not talk about design, lets talk about creativity' and I found that although a program about product design, the lessons that can be learnt apply to all of us. This is a link to watch episode one and I strongly recommend it to all, regardless of creative background. If you learn something, watch the other 5 episodes. if not, then don't but at least watch this one.

ReplyDeleteepisode 5 is about branding, illustrating your ideas and illustration in general and standing up for your ideas.
episode 6 is about advertising and how to get most out of photography (meet saatchi and saatchi creatives).
other episodes i can not remember off the top of my head but useful for everyone! I have certainly learnt a lot and the lessons learned has even taken over and inspired new and exciting things for the society and my projects!
